Scott Liebel is the owner and founder of Florida Shoreline and Foundation.  Scott has over 20 years’ experience as an owner and general manager in residential, commercial, and municipal marine construction projects ranging from simple repairs to million dollar marinas.  Scott holds his certifications and licenses as a:  State Certified Building Contractor, State Certified Marine Contractor, CHANCE® and Atlas® Systems Certified Installer for helical pilings and resistance piers.  Scott’s knowledge and attention to detail combined with his vast experiences ensures every project will run smoothly, on time, and on budget.

When not working Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.  In their free time the Liebel’s enjoy fishing, sailing, camping, hunting, sporting clays shooting, various team sports and the outdoors.  Scott is an active member of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron and Sarasota Youth Sailing.  He has lived in Sarasota for over 40 years and is a Sarasota High School graduate.  After graduating from Rollins College with a degree in Economics he returned to Sarasota to begin his career.

 

Jay Johnson is the General Manager of Florida Shoreline and Foundation and is also a  CHANCE® and Atlas® Systems Certified Installer for helical pilings and resistance piers.  His experience in marine construction spans over 25 years.  Jay began his career as an owner/operator of Hi-Tide Marine Services in Daytona Beach, Florida.  In the fall of 2011 Jay sold his company and took a position with a prominent marine contractor as their Operations Manager in the Florida Keys.  Jay brings exceptional knowledge and experience to Florida Shoreline with his attention to detail, time management and superior customer relations.

When not working Jay enjoys spending time with family and friends.  His hobbies include boating, golf, fishing and a good college football game.  Jay has lived in Sarasota for over ten years.

 

Dan Scarberry has been in foundation repair construction since 1997 when he and his brother started 3D Structural Solutions in South Bend, IN. Because of a strong business model and a commitment to hard work and excellent service to their customers, the company grew throughout the midwest with offices in Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas and Michigan. In 2015, Dan sold the majority stake in his business and moved his family to the Sarasota FL area, where he joined Florida Shoreline and Foundation as our primary structural technician. Dan is extremely qualified to handle all types of structural issues such as sophisticated, emergency repair projects on the beach, to common structural concerns that are prevalent in this area. His relationship to area engineers, and his knowledge of structural issues allow him to advise our clients with the best solutions for their structural challenge.   

Dan’s favorite pastime is hanging out with his wife Annie and four children.
