Siesta Key Grand Canal Dual Seawall Azek Docks Deco Beamless Lifts

Florida Shoreline completed a large-scale waterfront project on Siesta Key’s Grand Canal, serving two neighboring properties with coordinated seawall, dock, and boat lift installations. The seawalls span over 200 combined linear feet and were constructed using ShoreGuard vinyl panels, reinforced with CHANCE® helical tieback anchors to ensure long-term durability and shoreline stability.

Each property was outfitted with custom boat docks built using AZEK decking, chosen for its low maintenance requirements and resilience in marine environments. The docks were further enhanced with plastic-wrapped pilings for added protection against wear and aluminum bunks for reliable vessel support.

One property features two DECO beamless boat lifts, including a 10,000-pound capacity lift and a 6,000-pound lift designed for smaller vessels, incorporating a kayak launch system for added versatility. The neighboring property includes a 16,000-pound capacity DECO beamless lift, equipped with shallow water cradle beams angled on one side to improve maneuverability during low tide conditions.

Together, these systems provide efficient, user-friendly docking solutions designed to withstand demanding coastal environments—proven by their performance through two hurricanes without damage.
