Deep Foundation Solutions for New Construction Projects
In Florida, soil conditions often make traditional foundations unreliable or cost-prohibitive. That’s why many architects, contractors, and engineers trust helical piling systems as an affordable solution for new construction.
At Florida Shoreline and Foundation, we install helical piles and pull-down piles for residential and commercial projects where access is limited or soil conditions demand deeper support. Whether you're building from the ground up or supporting a specialty structure, we deliver code-compliant, engineered foundations that are fast, clean, and built to last.
Why Choose Helical Piles for New Construction
Helical piles offer key advantages over traditional driven piles or auger-cast systems, especially in tight-access sites or poor soil.
Benefits include:
- Fast, low-impact installation
- No vibration or heavy equipment required
- Installable in all weather conditions
- Ideal for limited-access or urban infill sites
- No excavation or spoils
- Load-tested on-site if needed
- Galvanized steel components with a CHANCE® 30-Year Transferable Warranty
- Immediate load-bearing capability
These systems are approved by BOCA, ICBO, SBCCI, CCMC, and ICC, and used across the U.S. in structural, commercial, and marine applications.
Where Florida Shoreline Uses Helical and Pull-Down Piles
Our systems support a wide range of new construction applications, including:
- Residential and commercial foundations
- Temporary or modular structures
- Pool shells and retaining walls
- Equipment pads and generator slabs
- Excavation shoring and tiebacks
- Foundation support in soft or loose soils
These systems can be used to stop ongoing settlement or retrofit a foundation to support additional loads, such as second-story additions or pool decks.
How the Process Works
Florida Shoreline coordinates closely with structural engineers, contractors, and site crews to ensure installation aligns with your timeline and design needs.
1. Design and Permitting
- Florida Shoreline works with geotechnical and structural engineers to review your soils report and structural loads
- The engineer of record defines the pile type, capacity, and configuration
- Shop drawings and specs are prepared and submitted for permit
2. Installation
- Our crew mobilizes immediately after footing excavation
- Piles are installed with low-impact equipment or handheld tools for tight spaces
- Cut to length and capped with steel pile caps
- Concrete forms and rebar follow immediately after pile installation
3. Load Testing (If Required)
- Compression and tension testing available
- Testing performed by independent consultants and verified by the engineer of record
4. Documentation and Final Sign-Off
- Logs are recorded for each pile (depth, torque, pressure)
- Certified by the engineer of record
- Submitted to the building department for final permit approval
