Florida Shoreline & Foundation Experts began working on this project in January in Osprey, Florida. This neighborhood was experiencing erosion along their shoreline.  After consulting with Florida Shoreline it was determined a rock revetment (sometimes called rip rap) would best meet their needs.

FACT: Rock revetments provide a long term solution to shoreline erosion caused by both water-based and land-based erosion sources. Using rock in projects like this is considered more environmentally friendly than a vertical wall. Also, much more affordable for the resident or neighborhood association.
