This new home on Siesta Key being built by J.E. Tucker needed a new boat dock to compliment the beautiful residence. The owners wanted not only a place to safely moor their boat but also wanted an area they could fish, enjoy the view over the water, and have a place friends could tie up when they stopped by.   Florida Shoreline was chosen to design, permit and construct the new boat dock and boat lift.

This dock was designed to have a 26’ boat on the lift, leaving the area in front of the boat open for fishing, table and chairs, etc.  The decking on the dock is IPE hardwood decking.  When installed it is a dark/rich color.  If left untreated it fades to a light gray—which most people enjoy even more.  IPE is an extremely hard wood which will last longer than pressure treated wood and composite decking.  All of the dock is constructed with stainless steel hardware—standard for all of Florida Shoreline docks.

The boat lift is a 10,000 lb. capacity lift manufactured by Synergy Boat Lifts.  Standard features on the lift include; remote control with auto stop, direct drive motors, aluminum bunks, toggled lower sheaves, and grooved cable winders.  Combined with the 15-year structural warranty and a very competitive price there isn’t a finer lift available.
